So yesterday I sat Savannah on the floor with a few toys before her, and much to my surprise-she stayed there! I stayed close by just in case she lost her balance, and she sat there playing with toys for several minutes without any assistance. Of course, I turned around for one second, and in that moment she arched back and hit her head on the floor. This was a first for her though-sitting unsupported. I’m sure it will take a little while for her to have this mastered, but she will be on the go before I know it.

We had her 6 month pictures done on Friday, and she was such a trooper. She lasted through 3 clothes changes in an hour. For a preview, check out our photographer’s blog Rebekah Pope. I’m not crazy about the first picture, but the other two are adorable. I can’t wait to see the rest of them.
