So I’ve decided to begin participating in menu plan Monday. I need to do it for a few reasons: 1) it will be accountability for me to make a plan 2) my husband will appreciate knowing the answer to the wonderful question “What’s for dinner?” 3) it will encourage me to try new recipes
monday- pork chops
tuesday-crockpot chicken
wednesday-lifegroup
thursday-burritos
friday-parmesan chicken
saturday-leftovers

I miss your yummy cooking!
Way to go new mama. I still have some of the monthly menus I hung on the fridge when the girls were in school. Helped with shopping and getting others to help. (sometimes - no they were good to help) :0)
Wow - you’re eating life group for dinner on Wednesday! Better be hungry!

That’s so awesome! I know for Sept. I tried to plan meals for the month, figuring in nights for leftovers, Life Group, nights to eat out etc. It’s worked pretty well so far. I get the Rachael Ray magazine and she has a 7 day meal plan in each one that lists all the ingredients to buy as well as what you probably have on hand and it makes grocery shopping simple. What I really want is a Smart Shopper (www.smartshopperusa.com). It’s hand held grocery list. You speak and it keeps a record of the item and even organizes your list by category etc. When you’re ready to shop you hit print and it prints your list! It’s so cool - I’m thinking possible Christmas gift. I probably need to let Jim know…
